Davids' : Startbuilding new squad starting with manager Now

Ok we are almost safe ,start looking for whom you seriously want to replace sam with now and thank sam for job he has done and pay him off.
Then announce your new manager and allow him to handle squad for last couple of games and see who he wants to keep (including bringing back loanees) And what he thinks he needs. Then and only then will there be a rush to renew despite price freeze. We want too enjoy what we pay to watch and have passion and pride in our team and our football and many are simply not prepared to renew without a change .enough is enough and like a good tv series you need to freshen up to keep its appeal and we need pretty much a big change in director and a lot of the cast !!

    he must be listening mate!

    talksport..

West Ham co-owner David Gold reveals the club are already looking at transfer targets for next season.

The east London club have virtually guaranteed Premier League football for the next campaign following recent victories over Hull and Sunderland.

But Gold is determined the club will not face another relegation struggle and hopes to bring in players that can help them challenge for a top half finish.

Gold, speaking in the match day programme, said: a€œWith the security of 37 points, our plans for next season have now begun and budgets are being discussed with regards to strengthening the squad.

a€œWe are determined to move the club forward and take the next step up from being a mid-table team.a€ - view external link

From the Sunderland RTG board. They're obviously depressed but it pretty much sums up how I feel about the progress we'll make with Allardyce at the helm and the PL in general.

Link didn't work. Quite a long piece. The bits I liked...

'Susan Boyle has just about shoehorned into her frock and is about to sing.'

'Quite how Richard Scudamore and the Premier League have got so many clubs and fans fooled into thinking that it is the be all and end all to be cannon fodder with no hope of ever achieving anything is miraculous and equally as shameful.'

'Each season 13 clubs have one aim and one aim only. To not get relegated.'

'People will point to Southampton as a pillar of what can be achieved. They've had a superb season and are 8th in the table. 9 points behind Man.Utd who are having their worst season since before Luke Shaw was even born.'

All too true I'm afraid. - view external link

so if we don't go for a major change do you not see us going through another season of 1 dimension football gambling on Andy remaining fit , and do you not think teams will become wise to our tactics.
sorry for me its a no option choice , we must change from the top otherwise players of the likes of Ravel will fall by the wayside to make way for muscular 100% effort grafters -not for me -sorry

I gather from your posts you are a ST holder. You've obviously realised SA has staked everything on his battering ram lump up front tactic. I'd hoped this season might see us evolve after Allardyces's first two seasons during which he delivered firstly immediate promotion and secondly consolidation. It hasn't and we've gone backwards imo. Allardyce pretty much staked everything on Carroll when he blew most of his transfer budget on him. And to get anything out of Carroll you have to play to him where he is best---in the air.

    As for teams be
