Toast for me today waiting for a fellow poster from Aberdeen forum come to my house for some nice Ethiopian coffee. Looking forward to it..

His wife is suffering from dementia and she's in a care place no that far from my house.. Poor lass

I had an continental quilt breakfast this morning.

Roll, ham and cheese. Bowl off of grapefruit.

I'll probably need to buy crisps and chocolate to make it to lunchtime.

Bloody foreigners,coming over here and changing our Great British breakfast menus and traditions.

What happens to people in Britain with dementia? Do they automatically qualify for a place in a home or do you have to pay for it?

Both English and Scottish NHS are so different on how they deal we patients.

For example we have free prescriptions also we spend money on drugs which can be costly like myself 17k a year to treat me..
If I lived in London I wouldn't get that drug so easily as I know a guy who lives in Herfordshire Alan is his he's got the same illness as myself he can't work no more as a lorry driver and can't even lift his feet over a kerb he's that bad and in some pain poor guy..

Whilst I can do my daily run.. Can cycle etc and I'm living without pain for that I'm so thankful and even when I get my infusion I truly feel guilty that the NHS is spending all that money on me..
