Thread: at a church fete in 1994

at a church fete in 1994

I went and contributed my bit to church funds

The church magazine reported there was only a couple of hvndered people there, but from my estimates, there must have been at least 500.

But it later emerged the minister had pocketed the money form one of the stalls for his own use.

The minister was a bit of a dodgy character though. There were rumours of some mischief going on in the Sunday school. But no one ever talked about it so I don't know what it was.
