Of all our loan players who would you most like to keep

From what i have seen it has to be Thorne. An essential role for us that needed filling long term and he has done a fantastic job since he has started playing. Wisdom has been average to poor for too long, bamford is too inconsistent and would probably rightly or wrongly have his sites set higher.I think we may actually have a chance of signing Thorne even if we stay in the chapianship,it creates a fantastic spine to our team.

    Sign him up.

Have to agree with Thorne though a close call with Whitbread

After a fantastic start, Wisdom seems to think this league is too easy for him. Definitely a bit too casual at times. His forays forward have pretty well dried up though it can't help having Bamford in front of you. That said, you can still see he can be quality.

Bamford is so frustrating at times. We've seen his quality finishing but also his knack of being the cause of our loss of possession. He doesn't beat his man as often as shou

Got to agree with you Triz. For the way we play to be truly effective the right defensive midfielder is just as important as the central striker.
Martin is the best centre-forward we have had in nearly 20 years and Thorne is the best defensive midfielder we've had since Seth Johnson! He can tackle and pass and he's only 22!

I doubt we could afford him but if we are serious about getting up he would be worth buying, barring the fact West Brom can pay him more and are Premier League. Maybe we can bu

tbh i didnt realise he would cost quite so much. We wont be spending 2/3 mill on a player in this league. I hope there is a chance to get him on loan again.

What do you mean in this league! Good grief hasn't anybody got any confidants in us to win the play offs? We have beat the 3 teams that are currently in the play off positions. So why be negative ffs. You sound like them lot down the 52. COYR

No need for the playoffs, Burnley are about to collapse and we will grab 2nd.

Besides, if we do go up through the playoffs, George will prove to be a real thorne in someones side

Unfortunately we ahve neither the means nor the club status to have a hope in hell of signing Thorne.

As for the playoffs whatever we may or may not ahve done in previous agmes this season against those other 3 teams in the lay offs matters not a jot - its 3 one off "cup" games with a different mentality, different pressure its hang on to your hats and hope lady luck goes our way but a betting man would be putting a few pounds on Wigan.

I think the only way we could sign him would be if we went up and they went down. They won't go down. It's between Fulham and Norwich to join Sunderland and Cardiff in my opinion.

He wasn't sent on loan to us as he was out of favour, he'd just returned from a very serious injury so he had to get first team football to get fit, however they couldn't risk playing an unfit player when fighting for their lives. This is why he took so long here to get a game, he obviously needed a while before he was ready to play.

I think the fact he was given a 3 year contract extension before he joined us shows West Brom's mentality. They;'re keeping him, and using the loan market in their favour as well as ours.
