    Davids Please Listen

After tonight I can understand why you have panicked to offer to freeze prices and rush to renew for next season because you know, even the die hard are getting totally fed up.
1 Dimensional football with no idea how to react after we went behind. Without Nolan who is now passed his prime to be automatically selected, why did we not recall Ravel who is obviously fit and playing well to fit into the hole off Andy ? Or is there real truth in the Agent bust up rumour with Sam?, plus we had several of his Players who already think we have enough, and are safe in a job , so lack fire in their bellies .
Sorry , I accept a point on Saturday may be enough to stop worrying any more this season especially if results go our way. However , if you think that and the frozen prices are enough to see us scurrying to renew you really don't know us.

we are totally fed up with the so called entertainment served up , the lack of modern
idea as to how to cope with the fast and skilled foreign players

I know there are people who will renew, come what may, and I fully appreciate their reasons for doing it. Particularly as there are only 2 seasons left at the Boleyn.

Having said that the point you make is a good one.

    BUT.

It will only resonate in the boardroom if people in sufficient numbers actually do not renew instead of threatening not to.

Change of manager and personnel is needed but it's going to have to be done over a couple of seasons maybe three or four. We need to change to an entertaining brand of football whilst retaining the good defensive solidarity we currently have. As long is I can see the plan for change and some evolution I will be happy.

The owners are just hard headed business men...fact. That is why they are millionaires.

Their project when they bought us was to move the club to a new stadium and sell the Boleyn Ground. They have achieved the first part of this project by selling our present ground.

The next step in the scheme is to move in two years and then sell up to the very highest bidder...when and if they come calling.

Till then we, the supporters of our club, have to just sit tight and suffer.

When we stay in the Premier League next season we will still be moaning about the same manager I'm sure.

Ah at last a sensible post.
I dread watching us play these days for fear they will embarrass the good of West Ham United.
I daren't go out the next day as anyone who knows I am a Hammer (now 66 years) will take the ...er...Michael.

Unless they make an exciting signing I don't envisage many sell-outs next season particularly if they flog Morrison and Reid as expected. The team is slow enough already without flogging arguably our two quickest players.
