Bobby Moore...
From memory I can only recall a couple of times when Bobby Moore nearly left West Ham before he ultimately went to Fulham.
The first was before the 1966 world cup when he actually was out of contract for a short time and Spurs were hovering. The second I believe was when Clough wanted to sign him for Derby in the early 70s, where no doubt he would have won a championship medal.
Anybody remember another?
Also, anecdotally Trevor Brooking said that during England gatherings the Liverpool group always said there was a place for him at Anfield if he wanted to go. Were there any formal offers for him anyone remembers?
