    Cracking wee documentary on just now on Channel 4 if ye like the Stone Roses.

    pyshy, overrated and bland.

    as most of the manchester scene of the early 90,s was.

    some of it was ok, but dosent really stand the test of time.

    My favourite era of music.

    Depends what age you are I suppose, I was in my early ***** around that time.

    Totally missed the whole Roses thing.
    I get the image bit and I know this is gonnae sounds old man but Ian Brown is a phuckin dreadful singer

    i was late teans, early 20,s when the manchester scene was big.

    i did like some of the songs but others bored me, and i felt none of the bands music had real energy.

    music was in decline then anyway, although not as bad as at present.

    Aye he is live, doesn't come through on studio albums though.

    I've seen him solo and with's the Stone Roses and he starts losing it big time 3/4 of the way through. The quality of the music still makes it good though

    I get it Dingus. I was a Ozzy Osbourne fan when he just a nutter in a band before all the reality pish.
    I liked the music and image,but he was never a singer.
    He gets away with it in the studio, just, but live he is torture.
