    D_D's players ratings vs. Barnsley

    A 2-1 win did the job this afternoon, but it could and really should have been much, much more. Derby's first half place was for the main part, excellent. We started quickly, and with a purpose, and this continued throughout. We were no where near clinical enough today, with many guilt-edge chances being missed, but it's better to miss now rather than in the play-offs. The ratings:

    Grant 7- Pulled off a couple of nice saves,ly from a second half free-kick, and also claimed the ball from crosses well. Not at fault for the goal.

    Wisdom 7- Would have been an 8 if not for the fact he didn't block the cross which led to their goal. He got forward well today, and seemed much more interested. Hopefully he's peaking just in time for the play-offs.

    Keogh 6- He left his man for the goal, and had a couple of erratic moments. Still, he corries the ball out well and has the pace to get us out of trouble.

    Buxton 7- Another great performance, bar one mistake, where Jake was disposessed in a

    Good to have your ratings back D_D, the other bloke's are dreadful. Not sure what you mean about GK error for Jeff's opener...?

    The only thing that concerns me is that we don't kill teams off when we have them over a barrel; we should have had 5 goals today but seem to take the foot off the gas instead of twisting the knife. Let's just hope that doesn't occur in the next few weeks.
