    Think he was daft to take the job in the first place. Ferguson was always going to be a hard act to follow by whoever took the role.

    Hopefully they'll come in for McCall ----- and we might win a cup-tie threafter

    5M pay off? Nice work if you can get it.

    They had a lot of patience with Fergie but he'd actually won things as a manager. Including 2 European trophies. Moyes had won nada so was a big gamble with big ego players.

    Next guy up will need silverware on his CV

    in this case yes.

    He has been paid 5m for 10 months work and noe gets another 5m to leave

    not a bad job if you can get it 10m for 10 months of not performing in your job.

    in the real world he would have been pumped much sooner and no payoff
