Mrs Pogue rattle me up some lovely pate on toast last night whilst I was watching the fitba...fecking lovely and 6 wee jars for A?4 with an assortment of Boar, Quail, Duck x2, Deer and Pig.
A bit of an acquired taste but well worth a try...thank me once you have tried it.

Cheers Mo I will give them a try...some good stuff these days in Lidl and their fillet/ rump steaks in their Deluxe Range are also fantastic.
Pate is disgusting stuff.
Pate is lovely Bluek and I would rather eat French Pate on toast than some old manky Kebab from a filthy Kebab Shop...each to their own though.Originally Posted by bluek
I'm not that adventurous when it comes to pate but I could eat Brussels pate with toast til the cows come home, or geese.
Similarily I'm not crazy about trying all mad cheeses but love cheddar, smoked and applewood.

My Lidl Pony
I'm not a big fan of pate, I could eat it at a push but it wouldn't be my ideal starter, and I would much prefer some crackers and cheese for a light snack.
i dont mind a little pate every now & again , cant stand cheese or fish...any of you lads recall when the butchers sold tripe ..?
