Morgan Upbeat About Away Form & Play Offs

Les Payne in The Star gets up close with club captain Craig Morgan's foresight for Rotherham's chances in the Play Offs.

"People have asked me if it's important to finish third or fourth and so guarantee the second leg is at home," said Morgan

"Yeh, you can say that but reverse it and look at our away form - it has been fantastic."

The way Rotherham have gone about their business away from NYS this season, and indeed under Steve Evans, it's plain to see the feeling in the camp is that we can give whoever a game, wherever that may be.

"Look, you have to play home and away and whichever way round it is then so be it, I won't be concerned which way it comes out.

Even if we did happen to be at home first and, say, it ended level, we know what our away form is like and what we are capable of so it's not the end of the world."

"We certainly won't go into the Play-offs fearing anybody. We've given all of them good games both home and away and got positive results against them."

Away form has been better but if you want a big crowd at the away game then it's best to be played on a Saturday.

Also if at home first and we lose then that adds extra pressure on the team when we play away.

Let's not forget all the teams will be putting on that extra fighting spirit so we need to get right behind the team and suck them goals into back of the net
