I would suggest that, given we can only finish 3rd or 4th, we will play the away game first? See thread on "whats our best starting XI" which comments on tactics as well as lineups...

Assuming we play at home first leg, do we attack & try to get at least a 2 goal advantage? In the away game do we play for a draw?

we should do what we've done all season; play to win!
I don't think there's any danger we'd take any other approach. away goals don't count so there's little point trying to get a 0-0 somewhere like mourinho does.
if we go out we should go out with a bang and go for it.
Yes, we will be playing away first. We just don't know who against. But, given the goal difference situation, unless we lose the remaining two games then we will be playing whoever grabs 6th.
Our strength is not defending to be honest, unless we are trying to see out a game in the latter stages, when we appear to be better than we used to be but still not infallible.
We should go for a win, attack is our best means of defence.

??? Surely as away goals don't count there is more point in seeking a goalless draw in the away leg as "that all important away goal" loses some of its significance? If 0-0 is no better nor worse than 2-2, then caution in the first leg is more than justified?Originally Posted by Rapid
As others have said, we need to play the way we have done to get us to 3rd in the league. Our strengths are in our attack/forward play. We have some of the best strikers and attacking midfield players in this division. The 'goals for' column demonstrates that with only Champions Leicester having out-gunned us so far this term. We just need to do what we do and let whoever we are playing worry about what they are going to do.

I agree. If we try weird and wonderful scenario's we may fall flat on our face.
"ATTACK, ATTACK, ATTACK".
Keep doing what we do best, keep possession and focussed at all times and the goals will come!
