    who stays and who goes

up or down we need change..where do we start...what would you do...which players would you keep or let go

    Tony Caig
    Davie Irons
    Prince Buaben
    James Berrett
    Danny Cadamarteri
    Chris Chantler
    Mike Edwards
    Lewis Guy
    Danny Livesey
    Jack Lynch
Lee Miller (plus further 12 month option)
    Liam Noble
    Paul Thirlwell

    To June 30th 2015
    Graham Kavanagh
    David Amoo
    Mark Beck
    Mark Gillespie
    Josh Gillies
    Sean O'Hanlon
    Brad Potts
    Matt Robson
    David Symington

    Chris Chantler
    David Amoo
    Mark Beck
    Mark Gillespie
    Sean O'Hanlon
    Brad Potts
    Matt Robson
    David Symington
    Courtney Meppen-Walter
    Mark Beck
Gary Madine (if we can get him)
Paul Thirwell (player coach and assistant manager)

I would let Kav go...if has a release cause for relegation. if not we do not have the money to let him go.

I would bring in 5 players on 1 year contract. We have Dempsey and Brough. Then I would bring in 4 players on lean with a minimum of 6 months preferably paid for by other clubs.

As a manager I would prefer a thinker who can develop players technically and tactically.

We need to play 3 different formations and adapt when necessary.

Focus on mental strength and winners. All players should understand and be committed to the shirt.

Long term plan is to produce local players and bring them on.

Drop prices for league 2 football. Have one area of the ground for singing and drop the price of one part where it is affordable to bring the crowds back

    I WOULD KEEP

    Gillespie
    Potts
    Symington
    Ohanlon
    Berrett
    Chantler
    Robson
    Redmond - if possible
    Noble - if possible
    Brown - If possible
Livesey - I know this will get stick but he's done L2 before, if that's where we end up, It's his level and cost effective
    Fleming

    I WOULD GET RID OF

    CMW
    Miller
Beck - purely because I don't think he shown enough. I wouldn't be too annoyed if he stayed.
    Thirwell
    Edwards
    Lynch
    Buaben
    Irons

    I'M UNDECIDED ON

Gillies - L2 may be ok for him if we end up there
Amoo - he just looks too much of a lightweight (mentally) player. Needs too much attention
Novo - good brain to have around, L2 may get him a few goals.
Chimbonda - player coach position maybe?
    Pearson - don't think there's any chance

I wouldn't expect Byrne, Pearson, brown or redmond will be attracted by L2 - If we end up there. Possibilities for them if we escape. Madine is a no go area too.

With regards back room staff, Caig isn't doing too bad, I'd like to see Murphy there in some capacity

I would also keep Lewis Guy as he won't be on too much and does a lot of leg work

See this is when i start to say the fans are as much a problem as other aspects.

we need a complete clear out yet all you'll hear for the next month or twoo is 'need to keep this, cannot let go that'

why?? not a single one of them has been good enough for quite a while now.

Too much sentiment from portions of our support to a player when they have a one good game in maybe every 15 and they get classed as worth keeping.

a big problem for couple of seasons has been a team of players with zero energy, passion or fight, players fans clearly cannot at all get behind...best to get rid of lot and re-build.

I agree, bigfat, we need a good clear out. However, speaking realistically...

I thought you'd stopped going to the games BFD so how would you know who's been decent and who hasn't ?

re: who stays and who goes

I havn't been since the Crewe home game in November.

but most of the new guys in are short term nothings who won't be about next year

and the rest i've seen enough about to know to get rid.

I may aswell join that other 2,000 odd in saying how crap we are without going to watch.

i've seen enough from likes of Robson, Chantler, Thirlwell, Berrett, Noble, Livesey Miller, etc, etc to say get rid and find fresh.

If the 2,000 odd that have decided not to come to the matches were to come, this would possibly help stabilise the finances giving the club a more solid understanding when planning budgets.

A complete overhaul of the squad over 2 months is just not viable, financially or logistically. Correct me if I'm wrong but no "better" options are going to queue up to join are they?

re: who stays and who goes

Really all doesn't matter who goes or who stays as long as we have the same owners if anyone needs to go it is them they have steadily taken us from a club in the verge of the championship to a club heading for obscurity.
