Oh yeah, the team of the year based on the team that did the best all season...

Always got to admire a fan who can't even spell thes of some of his players

    Sounds about right.

Pretty much spot on with the team I'd choose except for I'd swap Hughes for a third striker. Either Deeney or Rhodes.

I contributed to a thread (on a different site) about three months ago asking what your team of the season would be.

I had Forsyth down and not Hughes.

Fair would you say, or not?

Considering that it's voted for by other players in the division, my guess would be that it's a case of "when you play against him you just can't get near him."

Forsyth would not be classed as the best left back in the league, definitely not for me anyway. It seems that the consensus with Derby fans that the weak link (not including gaps left by loanees returning) is the left back area, as it is for a lot of sides. He hasn't done bad though, considering he isn't actually a left back but a left winger, which explains his strengths in attacking and crossing yet not so strong on the defensive side.

I wouldn't have Hughes in mine although in mine I used a 4-3-3 formation, with 4-4-2 I'd be unsure on who to have as the 4th midfielder. It's interesting for us as Hughes has been a little tired so has been rested, yet Hendrick has come in and scored 4 goals in 3 games (I think?) so dropping him for the play-offs w

I know Joey Barton rates him and in the game v QPR at our place Hughesy had him in his back pocket all game. Barton is a **** I know but still a good, experienced player with Premier League quality so praise for Will from players like that is only a good thing.
