I see the attention seeking wee fuds of The Green Brigade were on their moral high horses with their recent banner aimed at Celtic player Leigh Griffiths.

"A man must be a Celt on and off the field, otherwise he is of no value to this club"...the fine words of Celtic Legend Willie Maley and not always adhered to by the GB themselves with their previous poppy banner shame and ridiculous Sands & Wallace banner.

They might add much needed noise and colour at Celtic Park but they are up their own a8ses with their attention seeking antics on occasion.

I think you are missing Pogue's point, he is merely pointing out that a group of people who have not always covered themselves in glory should not be passing moral judgements on others.
The player himself probably realises that he has erred why try to humiliate him more as there are plenty of people who do not support Celtic all too willing to do that.
