    Andy Gray Says Everton Fans Want To Lose This Weekend To Deny Liverpool The Title.


    talkSPORT's Andy Gray thinks that Everton fans may actually be hoping that their team are beaten by Manchester City this weekend as it would leave city rivals Liverpool facing title heartbreak.

    The title is now in City's hands after they beat Crystal Palace 2-0 at Selhurst Park on Sunday having earlier seen Liverpool lose 2-0 to Chelsea at Anfield.

    A win for Manuel Pellegrini's side would all but secure them the title and Gray claimed the majority of the club's supporters would welcome being beaten by City if it meant Liverpool missing out on the title.

    Gray told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast: "Peter Reid and I were talking about it last night and we think maybe Evertonians for once in their life may not be too upset if they get beat this week.
