QUICKLY !!!!
I have witnessed some imposters between the sticks but none to equal the two we have at present.
Stop shooters..yes, but crap otherwise.
Most of the time they stand on the line leaving our defenders to deal with cross balls when in fact they should off their line using the additional height from their outstretched arms.
We have had two outstanding keepers over the last few seasons who have moved on to pastures new and good luck to them but IMO our priority for next season must be to bring in a reliable keeper and hunt the two existing imposters.

In the main I agree with most of your points, sometimes I wish the defence helped the 'keepers out a wee bit more than they do. The biggest difficulty is finding someone who is currently "unloved" and is willing to take a large cut in salary to put himself in the shop window with us...,in the past this has worked out fine however the budget belt seems, out of necessity to be tightening.

Found it amazing that Black was in the papers saying today the whole team were to blame for our goals against and not the keepers and basically said just coincidence we lost fewer with randolph and ruddy. What crap yes the whole team has to take part of the blame but if it has no confidence in keeper behind you lose goals when dan was in we lost 2 goals in 5 games so an average of 1 every 2.5 games with hollis and neilsen 56 in so nearly 2 a game on average. We need a keeper the defence has confidence then and only then will our goals tally against improve

I agree with most of what he said. Not down to coincidence though. Far too often this season our keepers have been left far too exposed by a poor defence and woeful central midfield (defensively). That said, our keepers have in the main been poor and lost a few poor goals. Their inability to come out for aerial balls has put unnecessary pressure on our central defence.

We really do need a keeper for next season. I agree with black we do need to defend more as a team, but our current goalkeeping situation has to be looked at. Neither hollis or neilsen inspire confidence and it must effect the defence to some extent. Neilden has another year but hollis is out of contract. I think we should go for maybe kello the st mirren keeper, they have him to the end of the season i think. Twardzik also did a decent job for us but he looks a bit on the small side for a keeper.

Their is a lot of keepers available like as you say kello also macdonald at hearts out of contract and dan the man as well.

What aboot sly stylone... he played a blinder in Escape to Victory and that was with only a few days coaching from Michael Caine. Just think what GM could make of him. Although Gunnar's penalty save against Shellic was almost as good as Sly's.

I totally understand why he defends the keepers. How would it look if he tuned round and said "They are not up to it", what would that do to their confidence I am also sure that they know we need another keeper.

100% agree. Its not a good idea to upset your goalies, or indeed any key player, a few days before crucial games. Yes, the management will know the players they require to replace.
