    The Bradford disaster, why dont you hear much about it? Would never have guessed it was that long ago, like Heysel, Ibrox, Sheffield, 9/11, you can always remember where you were. Tragic. :-(

    I was sat in the hoose, mind ****ie Davis coming on telling us about the fire showing live feed ( i think) crazy to imagine so many died.

    dosent seem like 29 years.

    i remember seeing the incident start live on grandstand, as it was later reported there was 1 death.

    a couple of hours later a mate told me it was over 40 people died. think the final figure was 53.

    people didnt seem to be fast at getting the fek out, but as later found out in the kings cross fire 2 years later, it emerged that fire spreads very fast on a slope, something previously unknown to the fire brigade.

    An awful thing to have happened, some of the footage was horrific too.

    Would never want to watch it again.

    I was in the Garage, had a visit that day as i did have when Heysel happened mate called me a jinx

    Most fire safety courses will show you the Bradford Disaster as part of your training. The speed in which it spread was unbelievable. And all because of some litter catching fire.

    I used to do regular courses when I used to refit petrol garages it used to have at least a day of videos fire is nasty nasty stuff.
