Every time this lad plays us he rips us to pieces. I wouldn't mind him in our squad if his personality fits the mould. The last thing we want is billy big times coming in and disrupting everything.

Lloyd Dyer is set to leave Leicester City after contract talks with the Premier League-bound club broke down.
Worth a look? I know he's 31, but from memory I can think of numerous games where he has ran us ragged, whether its been Brayford or Wisdom at right back. I don't know about wages, but I would certainly be inclined to consider it. - view external link

Agree with both the above, i wouldn't turn my nose up if he turned out a target, always ran us ragged but wages may be a stumbling block as leicester weren't exactly shy with their money plus at 31 i'd perhaps only be happy at a 2 year deal
looks like I'm disagreeing with the consensus. He's a good player, very very fast but sometimes lacks that little bit of quality. personally I don't think he suits our 'keep ball' type of play. a bit too direct imo much more suited to a 4-4-2.
I echo all these thoughts. He's hammered us at times, i really rate him. Leicester will be paying him a ****load though.

then there's the fact we already have JR, dawks and Russell. I don't think he's any better than any of those 3. we've also been linked with eagles who is a much better player.Originally Posted by Rapid

Decent player and wouldn't turn my nose up, but a major concern for me would be that his best asset as a footballer, his pace, will be diminishing rapidly (sorry!!!) over the coming seasons. Tyson came to the club with a reputation for blistering pace but we signed him too late in his career and without speed he was shown up for the bang average footballer be was (although there is no denying injuries played a major role as well) In my opinion, any club should think very carefully before signing players over (or approaching) 30 primarily for their pace. The decline sets in pretty quickly around that age.
Good point that
