    A sense off freedom

    Watched a little of the film this aftie , you lads ever watched it ?, the book ( he wrote ,Jimmy Boyle is better )

    I also found ( while tidying around the TV unit ) a file called Friday night / Saturday morning ,with Salford born Albert Finney , have you ever seen it ..?

    its good eh & a great story , given how he turned it all around , he went to a special unit in the end , spent loads of his time in barline prision , excuse the spelling

    eye thats right , he wrote for the rags prior

    i stayed up in Glasgow a good few yrs ago ( i was in the RN with a couple of lads from up there ) while staying at one of lads houses over a weekend , his mum ( bless her ) told me about this fella , she knew him & his family hence the interest in him , a nasty guy at that point eh

    Boyle was a madman who committed some awful atrocities, some of which couldn't even be depicted in the movie, The fact that he was rehabilitated under the special unit , which was later scrapped tells you how visionary and forward thinking our prison system is, ie they don't have a phucking clue how to spot success when it kicks them in the baws.
