well on our day we can beat anyone ,i think we should get thru this tie ,the last falkirk game at palmy thay won 2-1 but queens had enough chances to win 3 games on the day itl be all about taking our chances .
We will start as underdogs for sure, but our 2nd half of the season has been impressive. Falkirk are a decent side but I don't see us out of this tie even if we were not to win at Palmerston on Tuesday night.
Thoughts ?

Of course we can but we will need to play a lot better than recent weeks.
I was disappointed with fringe players today - only derek young and Kidd in patches showed anything and McHugh continues to disappoint. Reilly will be a big miss if injury is as bad as it looks.
Slattery hasn't been given a chance this season and I can't understand why? He played very well last season and he hasn't been given a chance to build on that.
Hope Paton is fit as we will desperately need his creativity.
Its going to be a struggle not having the luxury of a full squad.
What ever happens its really a win win situation with the new opposition in this division next term.
This is a tie that is definitely winnable over the two legs, but there will have to be an upturn in our frontline. Gavin is going to be a huge loss. IMO Russell should be pushed forward with lyle and bring Paton onto the wing. Even if we don't win at home, as long as we are still in the tie when we play away then I think we still have a decent chance. Huge tie and probably the biggest game of the season so hopefully. The crowd will come out in support.
No doubt a difficult tie over the two legs so hopefully we can do well on Tuesday at Palmerston as the Bairns had the best home record in the Championship only losing 2 games.
Going to be two very tough games against Falkirk, especially now with our striking options limited. With Gav definitely out and Paton doubtful these two players will be a great miss. Manager will probably start with Mc Hugh and Lyle up front and Russell back on the left.I would rsther see Lyle and Russell up front, as fatfan said and Burns,Kidd, Young and Mc shane in midfield.Carmichael will be handy to use as an impact player the last 20 mins.Falkirk aren't a great side, but we don't have a good record against them, time for that to change.C'mon Queeeeeeeens!
You are Righty Lefty we have a very poor record against the Bairns having only beaten them 25 times in 110 meetings so definitely time for a change.
Echoing what others have already said, these will be difficult but winnable games. Our line-ups will depend on injuries of course with Reilly looking a certain non-starter, Paton still a doubt and Mitchell looking to be complaining of an ankle problem at the half-time session yesterday. If these two are both FULLY fit then they should definitely start but if not then Kidd could cover at right back with Carmichael at right midfield. I hope that Mr. McIntyre's mindset is that these are games we should be trying to win rather than not getting beat. Of course the thinking for the 2nd leg will depend on Tuesday's result so let's treat it like a real cup-tie and go for it from the start. BRING IT ON.
Will be in Falkirk for the 2nd leg with some of the Mersey branch lads, just need to believe that the tie will still be alive after the 1st game on Tuesday. I do not have a good record at the Bairns, saw Queens lose 5 2 in the cup and a dreadful 3 0 reverse with Gus at the helm 3rd time lucky I hope.Having witnessed the 1-2 game in April thought Queens deserved at least a draw on the day and of course there was a 2-0 victory earlier in the season, so it will be close.
Will the first game be broadcast in any form?
or will i have to rely on this site and the wonderful Mr Goo to get the action?
