Moronic Fans views re Retained List

Sheesh - some people never fail to amaze do they?

Aside from the obvious wind-ups re Nacho Novo, the comments below the ENAS article on their website in the main are expressing disgust / outrage at the decision to release all of the out of contract players bar Thirwell & Berrett

FFS - the club cant do right for doing wrong!!

If any of these players were individually or collectively any good, we wouldnt have been relegated

I wouldnt have offered ANY of them a new contract. Berrett has been awful this season and whilst we ARE a better team when Thirwell plays, his injury record makes Darren Anderton look like Ironman

    Get real people

If such a thing as reality exists then reality suggests that Chanler & Noble are the highest earners at the club that's the message coming from Nobles friends and family over in Cramlington... hence they were released IMO they both should have stayed, how many games will we get out of Thirlwell?
Neither were offered a deal btw...

Moronic on the grounds that the decison to release players is now "disgusting" / "shows a lack of ambition" / "inept"

Only last week, the same people were posting on here, on the other board and texting BBCRC calling for a complete clear out

A lot of the people posting on the ENS page don't even know the playerss. Chandler and Mappin Webb being mentioned. I was trying to read the comments but gave up when I realised local people knew less about the team than I do and I've only seen two games this season.

The News and Star comments are a haven for absolute ****ing idiots, not just on things involving Carlisle United. It's genuinely frightening that there's a large population of people out there that are that stupid

i only find it frustrating to see Berrett and Thirlwell being offered contracts.

I just think manager is going to make the same mistake we've had for 2 years, constant changes to the defence and the attack with no blame pinned to the midfield which needs a new fresh direction and hasn't had one for 3-4 years now. your midfield has a possibility next year of being combo's from Potts, Berrett, Thirlwell, Robson, Amoo.

If they sign up it means we've central midfielders that lack energy, workrate and passion, and wingers that lack skill...not a combo that will worry the top of L2 next season.
