I hope QPR under estimate us

I watched the second half of Blackburn-Wigan at the weekend out of curiosity.

Wigan reminded me a bit of us in that the sum was less than the parts i.e. good players on paper who seemed unable to play well together. Defensively they looked susceptible to attacks down the wings (right wing in particular) and crosses into the box. Unfortunately we've hardly been tearing up trees in either departments this season. They also did seem to leave space between the lines, it was like they had no defensive midfielder.

After seeing that I consider them quite beatable. I can imagine it being a bit tight, but think we will edge it. Why? Because we have two aces in the hole that Wigan don't; two players who have been able to pull something out the bag again and again; Austin and Morrisson. Wigan don't really have anyone like that, look at their top scorer - Jordi Gomez with 7...

    Errr Malony, Macmanaman perhaps???

The Wigan that have turned up for the last few games isn't the team that'll be prepared for the play offs. I really hope Arry has based his game plan on the Blackburn match - but he's not that daft surely ? Morrison and Austin are a worry but we have to have faith in Callum and Shaun. Both can turn games. It will be very tough to win but stranger things have happened in the last three years - much stranger things.

i have a feeling that it will be a game off the defences not the attackers, if ramis is fit and available along with boyce at the centre back our defence should be much stronger

I don't think baggy chops will under estimate us, they've played us 6 times in the last 3 years they know what we are all about.

im confident of a result on Friday,it's Monday that makes me nervous but dispite McClaren saying we are the ones under pressure to go up, I think out of the 4 teams the pressure is on QPR. I just hope they buckle

This year has been exciting to watch from December onwards A full season under Uwe would be fantastic in this league, but if he gets us up I guess i'll have to bare it

I've hopefully got another 40 plus years watching the Latics i'm in no rush
