Clyde were on about Danny Lennons jaiket being on a shoogly peg yet no mention of Butcher which I find surprising after the current tail spin to the bottom

Too early to bin him despite the results. I hope he gets the support to shuffle the squad and bring in some quality players to at least threaten to score a goal. No mater what league Hibs end up in; transfer window is key. I think his may help with negotiations to persuade players to come to the club. He needs some money to play with.

Agreed on Butcher's being big but given the disastrous stewardship of the last couple of months prospective recruits could well decide to give Hibs a major swerve.

Fenlon at least got ye to a brace of Cup Finals and maintain yer top flight status. Butcher didn't get ye anywhere near a final and seems to have ye running at the exit door.

Can't understand how it all went so pear shaped so relatively quickly tbh - Butcher has shown he can do a job (though he's had a riddy or two before) but joining Hearts in the drop would imho be an even bigger slap in the puss than 5-1 imho

I reckon that generally a manager needs two years so I'd certainly give him into next season at least if I was a Hibee.

They need to get a couple of players in pronto though.

I think he'll probably get until Christmas and would want to be top 6 if Hibs are still in the SPFL, or top 2 if in the Championship or else he'll get the shove.
