    re: Nigel Farage

Farage is a smart & intelligent politician whose strongest support comes from voters who are deeply unhappy with the state of English politics and hostile to all the mainstream parties and their leaders.

He routed Clegg in a recent tv debate as just another representative of an "out-of-touch and unresponsive" political class. He would do the same to Cameron & Milliband if either had the balls to debate with the bold Nigel.

Expect UKIP to have some great results in the forthcoming European Elections.

Missed QT last night but from what I hear Farage excelled again!

I'm not a fan of his at all. Looks good up against other politicians but I think his party are a bit of a joke. Any support they get is down to a knee jerk reaction. They won't last.

Here he is getting rinsed by Nick Robinson. - view external link

"his party are a bit of a joke"...well Archie UKIP as a fledgling party are doing ok and if you want a bit of a joke look no further than the David, Gideon & the Public School Boys who have never done a days work in their lives in the current Tory Government... or worse still Milliband & Co in the feeble & pathetic Labour Party.

They may last longer than you think.

As Nigel says "a political earthquake in England is on its way with UKIP".

He's a breath of fresh air. He has Britain at heart and his popularity is rising by the day.

UKIP is a party of racists and oddballs.

best argument I've seen for a yes vote in September.
