    Sunday

Not at our best last night by any means and only one goal in it... First goal Sunday is crucial, mew score they will fold... They score I will fold.

Too many similarities to last time...
Leeds last game.. 2-1 first leg on the south coast..
    Pens anyone?

I think we'll be a lot tighter on Sunday and they will be pegged back. I don't think we'll need pens. I think we will finish them off in the 90.
I don't normally feel so confident (though I'm not as pessimistic as Triz ) but I think this Derby team just know instinctively how to beat opponents.
I'd quite like Derby to shut Mr Garcia up.

Hopefully, with us having both ends and them only having 2,000 odd poked in a corner, the atmosphere will make them nervous.

I honestly believe we could blow them away inside 30 like against Forest in similar circumstances.

However, i think we'll set up the same again, but look to control possession a little bit more.

No team has done well at Ipro when trying to attack us.

Weather forecast is showers, and hopefully we won't water the pitch as much as they did

I expect them to play a very tight holding game first half. If they go in 0-0, sure they will then look to 2nd half to get the goal they need.

I just hope that we have too much for them. I said last night the game would be the same as the league fixture and would be 2-1. I think Pride Park will be the same. You remember, they came for a 0-0 and Grant didnt have to make a save all night. We won it with a great Bamford strike. I hope that we are not biting nails to the end this time, and see a 1-0 win for us

They just dont have the pace that can really unsettle and hurt us. thats why I wanted them over Reading. Also why we are so dangerous with Russell and Ward

If they take us to penos, we're ****ed!

I just heard the after match interview with their manager.
It seems they were better than us in all areas, they played better and deserved to win the game!
    What was the score again?
So we roll them over three times so far this season and still we deserve nothing.Dago idiot!!

Very apprehensive about sounding too confident but I honestly don't think that Brighton have enough to hurt Derby to win the game.

They lack creativity and pace. It doesn't suit their game at all to open the game up and go hell for leather. I think they really needed to get into the second leg with something to protect, but saying that they only need a goal.

If we score first, then I can see the game opening up even more and that will suit us just fine.

Or alternatively, if we go a goal behind then the self belief and togetherness in this squad will come to the fore again.

And that's the legacy Nigel Clough has left. A down to earth and cohesive unit.

And that is the biggest parallel between this team and the Billy Davies side. The togetherness and belief.

The Southampton team we beat had a lot more attacking options than Brighton have. They had Gareth Bale, Kenwyn Jones, and Rasiak! When you look back, it gets all the more impressive really.

I feel confident now, but i

I agree with HR's assessment. we're a much better side than them, they had their chance at 1-0 and completely blew it. we played nowhere near what we can and still won away. I just we'll win comfortably. 2-0 or something like that. if we play like we have been doing at home we'll blow them away. that soton team of 7 or so years ago was much better than this brighton side and this derby team is also much better than that old derby side.

I said before the game that Lingard is their main threat, remember he scored 4 in one match earlier this season. That proved to be correct and I really do think that apart from him they don't have anyone clinical enough or skillful enough to hurt us. They will come with nothing to lose on Sunday but the best thing Derby can do is get people 1 on 1 with Upson and Greer etc because it showed last night they hated it and could only bring Forsyth down in the end. Not sure I would bring Sammon into the game on Sunday. I think it's one for Dawkins and Hughes to come on with the natural talent and class they possess to outclass them rather than 'outeffort' them like Sammon would do..
