    Strange how the tour de France tours more than France and the giro d'Italia giros Ireland.

    You'd think with a like giro it would go to Glasgow as well.

    Are those murals tourist attractions now Neilo? Do they get touched up for the purpose?

    Kind of, tourist love seeing them but generally there was a move away from paramilitary style murals in favour of more traditional ones or ones just celebrating local heroes. A lot of paramilitary murals were painted over...for some reason in the east of the city the UVF started putting up murals of men with wooley faces again, often painting over more positive images that hadn't long gone up.

    To be fair, i think both are shyte, canny see any positivity as one is forever tied to the other. How many are there in the city?

    You could argue the flag of Republic of Ireland (tricolour)is a symbol tied to it all too but at some point you have to acknowledge two cultures and traditions...with no place for terrorist emblems.
