Lets hope Hughes puts in a performance and rises to the occasion. Great replacement to have really.

Tough decisions now! Hendrick scored, Hughes scored with a piece of magic and obviously Thorne won't be displaced.

bryson must start, its just which one of hughes and hendrick plays alongside him. I would probably say hughes but its by such a small margin as to not matter.

Hughes had a very good game in my opinion. Kept the ball well in tight areas and that goal was world class. He didn't look at the ball, let alone and goal and got the perfect weighted touch with the back of his left heel to guide it into the corner from the edge of the box, no chance for the keeper!

Pundits on Sky Sports including Uwe Rosler (not sure why he was there, they have a massive game tomorrow) were raving about the goal and how he's "so talented and only 19 years old" (their words, not mine). He's made a real statement for why he deserves to start the final.

In other news, Ratty ups his value of Hughes to 550k.

Nope, complete miss-hit. Value's down to A?250,000 now.

Seriously though, Hughes must start in the final. He'll have a field day on Wembley's hige pitch. His passing and ability to dictate the pace of the game were what was missing on Thursday, where Bryson was anonymous. It'll be harsh on s
