Celtic's Keeper in English WC squad

Fair dues to the guy - didn't think he'd get the nod given the way the meeja, both English and Scottish, is always running down Scottish Fitba

Personally I don't think we'll see big fraser back at paradise but all the best to him and a bit of a bonus for the Scottish league that we have a player in the England squad

How long has he left on his contract and how much do you think Celtic will get for him - presumably this call up won't harm his price tag

He's the third choice England keeper.

    Exactly.
Shows how low Scottish fitba is if we're celebrating a goalie going to the World Cup as England's 3rd choice.

Even if he's only the third best English keeper at the moment one suspects he'll be sold by Lawell who'll cash in on his profile. I was just asking a Celtic fan how much was left on his contract and roughly how much he thought the guy would go for.

Sorry if my football related questions jarred with your anti all things Celtic prejudice Berty.

As one poster says it does show how far Scottish Fitba has fallen that Foster getting picked in the English squad is now seen as a highlight

Forster has a contract with Celtic up until June, 2016 but as much as Lawwell will want to cash in I reckon Forster would jump at the chance to play in a better standard of football and to increase his wages.

Remains to be seen if any Premiership come in for him but Celtic should expect A?8m in the current mad climate of English transfers.
