    Any Jambo fans know ...

... why Hearts released those 3 players. I'm surprised you are letting Stevenson go was he not one of your best performers this year. Surely you need to retain some experience to bring you back up?

They were our 3 highest earners.

    Hamill was pysh. No loss.

McDonald was good for us but if the rumours are true about Craig Gordon then it's no great loss either.

Stevenson has a year left on his deal so we might get some cash for him. He was also on a few grand a week and Queen Ann won't pay those kind of wages.

The days of Hearts paying crazy wages to average players are gone. And I'm delighted with that.

About Hamill, is that your opinion or do most of the Gorgie faithful think that?

If he's released fae his contract hearts won't get a penny for Stevenson. Which suggests something's been agreed beforehand to get him aff the wage bill.

I like the boy - he's got a bit of dig about him and he can play. I'd rather have Stevenson than Hammill if rumours are to be believed.

I'd say the vast majority don't rate him.

I am in block 443 on Saturday, [s]Easty Goodie [/s] Elite, North stand Upper. I took a wee wander round at the game yesterday, it's a cracking seat.
