They are in the Europa League, will make a half ar$ed attempt with their second team with a half full Lane and get knocked out (probably) in the group stage. If they ever produce any world class players they will be bought by a bigger club eg Gazza/Bale. I don't think he'll get paid double. Higher profile..hmmm...maybe a bit in the UK - yes. But if you go anywhere else in the world you never see a Spurs shirt.

Bale is a slightly different case to most though, a bit like Manure selling Ronaldo.

But I take your point although I've not seen anyone showing interest in any Spurs players. In fact, they could actually do with a bit of a cull to bring in more quality. Levy may be many things, but he does at least normally provide silly levels of transfer funds to be spanked.
