    St. Georges Park

Hi everybody new poster here, just a thought, with the rams getting to wem-ber-ley, I was wondering wether derby would be taking advantage of the fantastic facilities right on there doorstep at St Georges Park.If you've not been before there are two replica size pitches of the wembley pitches, one indoors and one out,its even the same turf. Would be ideal for the rams to get use to the pitch size before the big day, just a thought

It's a very good point. I'm sure SMcC is aware of this though as I know both Burton & Derby County are regular visitors to St George's.

Pretty sure our pitch is same size? Bigger than most other clubs anyway.

    re: St. Georges Park

I had the privilege of having a guided tour of St Georges a week before it opened, The wembly outdoor pitch is an exact replica of wembly pitch constructed the same was, drainage, turf, contours, size the lot. I do hope the Rams use the facility. Unfortunately although you can go and watch teams playing on all the other pitches you don't have access to the wembly indoor and outdoor pitches. Its well worth a visit though fantastic place. Again unfortunately fantastic prices for a drink a pint of Carlsberg and a glass of wine set me back A?12. PS you don't have to have a drink you can just have a look round.
