I genuinely loath and despise that song. Whoever wrote the lyrics should face prosecution.

What I also never quite understand is, if it's playing over the speakers then how is it that never in the god-knows-how-many-years we've had it have I ever heard each side of the ground sing the final 'DERBY' in unison?

Have you ever heard a large group of people randomly saying 'rhubarb' over and over again at different intervals? It sounds like a mumbled crowd noise. I think I can confirm the same effect can be achieved by singing 'Derby' at different times as well.

We should try 'Rhubarb' next time. Might as well, wont be able to tell any difference.

That would make it the first bit of music that i have purchased since i was about 15, i agree with you ramondo terrible song and not worth paying money for even 99 cents. I share your disbelief at in being on Itunes too mate, i shoulda whacked it on youtube but they've left now with there taunts ringing in my ears.

There are two versions, the Robert Lindsay one and the one they play before home games (much shorter and a little faster). I have both versions and happy to email either version to anyone who wants them.
