as I am currently on vacation in Riga,I have developed a fascination for "pavement stains" I have taken numerous photos and shall (occasionally) submit extracts of my portfolio for you delectation.

No...more of a piddle Soudy.
I am amazed to see here that said stains normally run from wall to gutter and can sometimes make the most bizarre shapes.
Bit like those ink blot jobbies analysts (well my analysts anyway)expect you to see a kunt somewhere in them all.

When I were lad (cue Hovis music) Pompey was the stains capital of the world. Walking from the ferry to college in the late 60s one could track the vomit, blood and other bodily fluid ejaculations from navies from the four corners of the world. Humanity's excretions as creative works of art on a paving slab. Sushi and saki from Japan, burgers and Budweiser from the States, you it and it was there in glorious technicolour. Now sadly it is a past glory and even Godalming and Basingstoke has better pavement artwork. A terrible loss to our civic pride.

I think think the tarmac needs to have special properties...they have those in abundance here
