I had a girl work for me in Australia who I found out after one year got hacked off when her birthday was not noted. How was I supposed to know? I stuck it in my calendar as a recurring meeting so as not to forget and each year she got a fairly pointless email...but it kept her happy.

It should be noted though that she was not earning 220k a week!!
