    Plus the additional revenue from the home game in the semi finals & TV money, even if we lose we would have some good additional funding for next season.

    To put it into perspective tho A£3m excluding the semi final money is 20% of the turnover of Derby alone!

    Equates to about 1 maybe 2 decent players tho.

    that's not actually how the semi's work. all home gates are split between all play off teams and the football league also takes a big cut.

    according to sam rush we benefit very little financial from the semi's but significantly from the final.

    I think that's a really good idea from Derby and QPR. if we don't make it hopefully we can offer WBA that for George thorne!
