QPR fan.. Wembley Parking Pubs Trains

    Firstly good luck Saturday !!

If you are driving down here are a few local tips ..
Parking near Wembley is a no go , nearest parking is Preston Road station (2.5 miles walk) and is very limited, so if you are driving-in an option is to come down the end of the A1 to head for Stanmore station , its on the Jubilee Line , there is parking in side roads and its only 4 stops 10 mins . Wembley Park Station is always manic after the game so be prepared to have a wait to be let into the station .

If you are coming in on the A40 the Metropolitan line at Ruislip , Ruislip Manor and Eastcote have parking nearby (side streets) and Wembley Park Station is abour 20 Mins .

Driving past Ruislip in toward London will get very busy from this point(most QPR fans will be traveling from this side of town too)once you get on the A406 it will be start stop with busy traffic and virtually no free parking its mostly "permit holders only" .

AS for pubs , pubs around the Ruislip Eastcote areas will mostly ha

Ha Ha thanks I can understand that , Its no lose for us , we are a poor Premiership side , so would almost prefer to be a winning championsip side .

We do have the money to rebuild but Harry is not a good tactitian , When Mclaren left so did the tactics ..
I do supprot them honest !! Every week !

    Thanks for the info mate.

Fortunately I'm booked into a hotel so I'll be down nice and early and taking advantage of their on site parking.

My head says a QPR win. Big game players, lots of experience and ability. Don't always buy this 'Harry doesn't have tactics' stuff, he knows enough about the game to know how to set a team up and he adjusted his tactics midway through the first half in your home tie against Wigan, they were creaming you up until then but he managed to turn that around.

My heart on the other hand is screaming a Derby win. No matter how I try, I just can't shake that 'feeling' off that we'll do it.

What worries me is that when it comes to Derby results, my heart is nearly always wrong!

    Yes
QPR Chelsea Fulham Brentford all local teams to the areas , we are a West London team , Wembley is in West London , we are the nearest team to Wembley as the crow flies .

So Qpr supporters are local to all directions around Wembley, so you wont avoid it, I wouldnt worry only the odd idiot around.

On the way to the game we are all in a good frame of mind plenty of good chat and banter. More important , whoever wins stays behind for an extra hour celebrating , so one lot of us will be on our way home an hour before the other .

Wouldn't surprise me , if u can cut out Charlie Austin then we don't have a scorer anywhere near as good. , will just be pot shots.

Oh and most of us would be home withing an hour if we do lose !!
