    Nigel wishes the boys well.

    I've lost the link but was reading an article on Buxton, I think from the Mirror, and at the end of the piece it said Nigel Clough had been in touch to wish all the lads well and to get the job done. Lovely touch.

    nigel was only ever 2nd best to joey barton. obviously in the context of tomorrow joey (from Liverpool) barton takes the mantle.

    I have a feeling the Brighton game turned him. I don't know if he was at the second leg game at the i pro, but I was and the atmosphere was electric and so was the football. Not seen anything like that for many years. There is a feeling I get from the club that hasn't been there since the Jim Smith days.
