Old World Cup Trophy v Current World Cup Trophy

Just Watched on BBC2 just now the official 1954 World Cup film.A strange wee film I may add,showing the games and following the fortunes of a kid called marco,who does everything to get to see the final and other games by trying to cadge lifts from strangers to hop about Switzerland to see various games.
Anyway got me thinking what trophy you thought was the best,the old one or the new one.

As a wee boy I thought the old one was mystic,but when you see it now it really looks outdated.
On a side note,I got my picture taken with the current trophy,in Bari when Scotland were playing Italy in Euro Qualifier,when it was put on display.

I used. To have a wee metal replica of the old one that we used to playfor. When we were kids in Easterhouse so i have great memories of the old one, lol, i even remember looking under hedges etc when it was stolen ha ha ha, what a fud
The new one looks the mutz nutz though.

ps. my great uncle used to work with the guy who trained the dug who found the old world cup trophy under a hedge.

although i rarely discuss the matter.
