Mixed signals today across the media,

On the one hand Wisdom and Bamford have made very public farewells to the club and on the other we've got reports on sky sports news saying that we're exploring possibilities to keep all loan signings for longer.

Anyone else have any hope at all in us keeping either of them or any of them at all? Or does anyone know anything different?

I've never had any hope that either of them will stay. I honestly believe that if we can keep Thorne and continue the level of consistency we've shown since Mc's return then we can seal automatic promotion next year.

It was always going to be the case that we'd probably lose the loan signings but I reckon it will take ten million in transfer fees to buy three players of their calibre.

It would go a long way to drown the sorrows if we can get Thorne. I thought he was the best player on the pitch on Saturday.
