    Gareth Barry

Reports in a couple of dailys' that we've entered the race to sign him on a free.

Don't particularly like the bloke but a solid signing if we manage it imo.

65k a week for a 33 year old is a bit much imo. Admittedly he had a good season for Everton last term and would be a steady if not earth shattering signing. Can't really see it with Sully's remit of signing younger players and Wenger apparently sniffing around also.

would be a sound signing if his head was in the right place, but for the money he would be asking for a club he would see as both a backward move and one last payday... i'm not convinced. :/

If it happens then it relieves us of the burden of Taylor...although saying that Taylor has had a good season.

Solid as in "slower and with an even bigger bottle than Nolan' . It'll look like something out of Jungle Book with them two in the side ffs.
The more I hear about our targets and renewed deals for the Bolton boys the less I'm interested in renewing my ST.

    Don`t fret Ladies,

Did Gareth Barry play for Bolton ?? I thought he came through from Brighton to Villa ?

Good player last season but Everton will want him and he has a house in the NW so I suspect he will stay there
