Not a bad calibre to choose from considering we are (according to a few) on meltdown.

Thought Andy Awford might be on the list?
    Snigger.

Life as a Saints fan is looking good.

It looks like it's going to be Murat Yakin so I'm surprised his odds are not even shorter than that.

I'm quite excited at the prospect. If he gets us playing like his Basel team did against Chelsea in the Champions League, there is a lot to look forward to.

Listening to Adam Blackmore on the way home, he reckons that Yakin has become the bookies favourite largely on the basis of a few people taking a hopeful punt on the strength a Swiss connection.

Could be a very good fit for Saints if it comes to pass, though..

Like many Saints fans I was a bit disappointed when Pochettino left yesterday but now I feel surprisingly positive about the future. Pochettino wasn't interested in the FA Cup, the League Cup or the Europa League and those are the very competitions we should be targetting. The odds of us making the Champions' League were never shorter than 60/1 and even if we did, we wouldn't get past the qualifying round.

It's rather ironic that MP has gone to a club in the Europa League after saying he wasn't interested in that competition.
I braced myself for players leaving a few weeks back, but as long as we get a decent manager in and he's given a decent transfer budget which includes money from player sales i would be satisfied

Did you get to hear any of Krueger's interview with Blackmore on Solent earlier ? Again, actions speak louder etc etc, but there was plenty to be encouraged about..

I couldn't be bothered to listen to the psychobabble and him probably mentioning the 50 odd stitches in his head or wherever they are so i read the highlights on SW.
The mention of "player transactions, but on our terms" could be interpreted either way, but as you actions rather than words.
The general consensus seems positive and it was much better than the post Man U interview which is a small step.
I gather he also touched on MP being contacted by Spurs in January? Wouldn't surprise me at all if that was the c

Whoever you get, good luck. It may take the season for the dust to settle for you, but thou have a great development system which will stand you in good stead.

Poyet can be ruled out then seeing as he has signed a new contract at Sunlun.

Thanks for the good wishes TC, hope you enjoy your European adventure next season

Clearly the bookies have no idea at the mo and the 4-1 available for Yakin suggests he's not exactly in pole position for the role. I read that Oscar Garcia was a possible but his odds haven't changed from 16-1 either.

Only one to have shortened in the last 24 hours is Laudrup, but nothing of note.
