I'm not reaching for the tissues just yet, but was reasonably encouraged by what he had to say - on how they tried to keep Pochettino, on ambition, on targets for the club, on continued progression. His comments regarding 'player movements' were very ambiguous and could be construed either way but, other than that, I thought he did OK.
He certainly talks the talk, and now it falls to him to convince Saints fans that the club can deliver on his promises.
