And this is despite Krueger stating quite clearly, I thought, that any transactions, in or out, would be discussed with the new manager, before any decisions were made.

If a club which finished 2nd last season, and will be playing Champions League football as a result, is serious about signing a player of his age and standard I would suggest Brendan Rodgers has lost the plot. Wow, seems like there is really something in this. If true I would be gutted, but you just cannot deny him what would be a dream move and for an incredible fee for a 32 year old. I would be so chuffed for him and it would complete the fairytale.
