    SRL to Liverpool

If someone sent me a text message saying Rickie is being lined up for a move to his hometown & boyhood club I would have laughed it off.

However, having started the day at 5/1 he's now a staggering 1/6 to make the move to the bin dippers according to Sky Bet!

Goes without saying it would be a dream come true for him.

I'm not going mad am I? This is really being suggested, isn't it?

And this is despite Krueger stating quite clearly, I thought, that any transactions, in or out, would be discussed with the new manager, before any decisions were made.
Are the media actually reporting Krueger's statement, or has it been airbrushed out? Much like Les Reed's statement, before.

I love Rickie Lambert, he's been outstanding for us and I think he still has a lot to offer us (Captain if Adam leaves?)

    BUT

If a club which finished 2nd last season, and will be playing Champions League football as a result, is serious about signing a player of his age and standard I would suggest Brendan Rodgers has lost the plot. Bookies odds mean jack in my opinion, and therefore I consign this to the bull shyte bin.

I wouldn't begrudge Rickie but it would indicate that Rodgers has gone mental

With Suarez and Sturridge as first choice he'd never play

Wow, seems like there is really something in this. If true I would be gutted, but you just cannot deny him what would be a dream move and for an incredible fee for a 32 year old. I would be so chuffed for him and it would complete the fairytale.

Makes me really proud that everyone wants our players.

By my reckoning its just Gallagher playing up front on his own next season.
