Many of those on show last night played their first game in nearly three weeks. I think playing against Peru was more of playing someone with a similar set up to Uruguay. Once the world cup kicks off, we will see how far Hodgson's England have progressed under him.

Good result, not the best of performances but I liked the system, would like to see Barkley and Stirling start ahead of Welbeck and Henderson though.
