    Oi FT

I've no idea how wide your taste is, but I just finished reading Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill (Stephen King's son) and it is well worth a look. I've just got back from my trip to the Hay festival which was fantastic and has given me a few ideas as well, I may report back on those at some stage.

I was delighted to get back to work today to find 6 books I'd ordered waiting for me (all first editions, and 4 signed ones), they'll not be read of course. One of those is Horns by the aforementioned Hill, which was recently made into a film starring that lad from Harry Potter.

HAHA You and Moorlass had better consult some architects and engineers, soon.

You two are going to need add on a new room or two at the Hacienda de la Moors and have the the rest of the ranch house's under supports beefed up to store all those books you two are always packing in there.

Are they cheaper by the ton or something?

I can visualize you two lying there one night, happily reading away, when the flooring gives way under the book load. The first responders will just find a cloud of dust and torn pages when they first arrive to start digging you out.

Remember, Safety First when reading, Moorlad

Still reading Mason & Dixon by Pynchon - real work that - great stuff - but, it is in an archaic form and loaded the in dialect of the time. Making it one of the more difficult reads of my life. (I actually bought this at a Friends of the Library book sale for 2 whole dollars! - it weights 5 pounds or more. Something you and Moorlass ought to think about when buying books! Have

Aye mate, the shelves are positively groaning under the weight. Most books I buy now aren't even for reading, I get them to read on an ereader. I buy first editions (mainly author signed ones) to keep as a collection, which is coming along nicely. Moorlass still buys just to read though.

I'm really looking at almost unread condition books FT, so remainders and ex library books are almost always out of the question (unless they're very rare). I've also always loved owning books and being able to read whatever takes my fancy at any time, which is why a Kindle is so fantastic.

Love Grapes of Wrath, and it is decades since I last read it, that may not be a bad idea mate, might have to download it. I'll keep you updated on anything I spot.

By the way if you come over here again it might be an idea for you to make a visit coincide with the Hay festival. I could have spent a couple of weeks just in the town's bookshops, what a place.
