I'm certainly more for this guy than say Coyle or Keane, but it'll be interesting to see if he's bringing in his ow backroom team.

The more i read the more i'm warming to him.

If I was a Selik fan - God forbid- then I'd be wanting Malky Mackay.
Celtic are in the fortunate position that they can afford to take a gamble on a man they might view as a promising young manager as appointing the person who cleans the cludgies at Celtic park as manager would not affect their position as the dominant force in Scotland.
Could be an interesting appointment and at least he is not a EPL chancer/failure.
Thinking outside the box ie no glamour etc but tactical flair could be the way forward for Celtic with a European Coach/Manager.

I would imagine that the likes of Keane, Moyes etc. would want a sizeable transfer budget.

The knock out competitions can't be taken for granted mind with Celtic papped out of both AT HOME last season even under a guy who was more than familiar with Scottish football.
And of course there's the oft mentioned (here anyway) Celtic access to Champions League. Think they've an extra round to negotiate this year and their "home" games are on a rugby pitch in a different city. Previously home venue in the CL was a bit of a fortress for Celtic. Unlikely to be t

I think that would be the case and Lennon was not exactly furnished with a sizeable transfer budget but has left a good group of players and Celtic are definitely stronger than the shambolic situation left by Mowbray in 2010.
pollygwen might have taken over a team who had finished 3rd.
but that was wholly irrelevant as he was given a huger transfer budget and brought in a lot of new players who didnt finish 3rd the previous season.
he also inherited players who had won titles at rangers.
