How many World Cups have you lived through ?

Also how many World Cups have you attended and how many games have you attended ?


It will be 13 for me,after this upcoming one finishes.
I vaguely mind the 1970 World Cup being talked about on the telly and in the house.
I have attended 2 World Cups in Italy and France
I have attended 5 matches.All Scotland.3 in Italy and 2 in France.

First one I remember is '86 & Strachan's goal.

Born in 71. First one I remember watching was 78 with my buckled dad and my equally buckled uncle. Best one for me was Italia90. I was 19 and just loved everything about that tournament. I went to France 98 and that was a great experience. I would recommend anybody who hasn't been to a World Cup to try and go at least once. You won't regret it.

Assuming I don't pass on before next week, then 2014 will be my ninth.

The first one I remember was Italia '90. I thought it was great. I had the Esso coin collection and a Coca-Cola mini fitba. I was disappointed when Scotland lost to Costa Rica; I didn't even know where that was. In fact, I still don't.

I've never been to any World Cups. I'll probably be in my nineties next time Scotland qualify.
