    The World Cup

Dinnae ken if I'm the only one but I'm really no fussed about this World Cup, think it's a combination of Scotland not being there, me having a lot on this summer & the depression from the end of last season but I'm going to miss all the games on Saturday & I really don't care.

Hopefully I'll be a bit more interested in seven days...

I`m looking forward to it , Betting wise its never been better , some cracking deals going about.

888 Sport are giving you a fiver every time yer nominated team score as long as you place a fiver bet on the game yer teams playing in.

Paddy Power are if you stick 20 quid or a tenner e/w on the top scorer they will give you a fiver each time the player scores .

Corals are stick a tenner on anyone to win it and you get yer money back if Brazil or Argentina win it .

Plenty of other good bets as well.

Naw, I'm going to take a long walk off a short pier due to my World Cup indifference.

Can't wait until the world cup. Caught myself watching rugby the other day, no idea what the rules are or who was playing.

Got prison break to keep me occupied until next Thursday.

    re: The World Cup

world cups can lack goals and real excitement in a lot of games due to teams cancelling each other out, but theres a lot at stake and when a game really gets going the world cup can be a great watch. its also very difficult to score in the world cup as most teams are defensively astute.

been watching a lot of oldy games on youtube and some of the football was brilliant, which also makes a mockery of some of todays overhyped "stars"

an example is italys first goal v argentina in 1982, classic counter attacking football, doubt you will see many better team goals in this years tournament.
