    Medical breakthrough to lower cholesterol

Like many, I struggle to keep my cholesterol levels down - and I WILL NOT use statins.

There is a natural remedy from the plant genus plantago. A cholesterol reduction has been attributed to a diet that includes fibre taken from black, French and Spanish plantago.

The mucilage content of plantago is a clear, colorless, gelling agent. The mucilage obtained is derived from the seed coat and is used as a thickener in ice cream and frozen desserts.

The refined fibre from husks of plantago seed are available from High Street herbalists such as Holland & Barrett.

This preparation is also highly recommended for dyslexia and bouts of irritability.

Oats are far cheaper and easier to get hold of.

PFClassof61. I've got massively elevated cholesterol. Its about 8 or so.

    Does this stuff work?

I try to eat oats, oily fish and garlic 1x a day (smelly yes) to reduce it.

I wonder if the effects are cumulative.

I had some pretty rotten side effects from statins and I refuse to take them too.

As most of your medical reports will include the words "Psychoanalysis", "Psycho", "Psychiatric" "Psychopathic" etc I bow to your greater expertise in this area.

It's just lazy posting and has no time on this board. My Mom and Pa would never have let this happen...no siree.
